Mongozo Quinua features a slightly bitter aftertaste and the characteristic flavour of the quinua grain. Quinua is also sometimes known as ‘mother grain’ or ‘Golden Grain of the Andes’.
Villagers in Bolivia still drink this traditional Incan beer today and call it ‘chica’. The beer is golden brown in colour. Mongozo Quinua also bears the Fairtrade/Max Havelaar label.
