Tegernseer 1806 Max 1 Joseph Jubilaums Export is an Export Helles from German brewery, Tegernseer. Tegernseer 1806 Max 1 Joseph Jubilaums Export has the malt-forward, light body of a Helles lager with a slightly increased strength at 5.2% ABV.
Pouring a pale golden colour, Tegernseer 1806 Max 1 Joseph Jubilaums Export offers up aromas of crisp barley malt. The flavour is fairly light, with gentle malt sweetness and a light floral bitterness on the finish. Overall a balanced, highly drinkable export Helles from German brewery, Tegernseer.

Always concerned for German export, particularly the celebratory or limited ones. This is a treat though, a great brewery that makes a very clean lager has produced a Jubilaums which is easily drinkable despite higher ABV.
Doesn’t have the same strong malt as other brewery efforts. Worth trying whilst available.
Jim –
Very good. A definite one to try. Recommended
Stujago –
Typically clean & crisp but quite bitter for a helles, although it is smooth. Would definitely drink again.
Otto The Bier Dude –
Pours clear gold, full foamy white head. Aroma is bready malts. Taste is smooth, lightly sweet malts, bready with a low bitterness. Easy-drinking Dortmunder with a nice strength to back up that smooth character.
Dean Griffiths –
Medium carbonation, light in colour slightly bitter aftertaste but still smooth.
Very good overall, you’d expect no less from HB.
Paul C –
Easily drinkable smooth flavoursome Export.
Clear golden colour, sweet aroma with a gentle malty sweetness and slightly bitter.
This combination leaves a pleasant bitter aftertaste.
Overall a nice unique beer.
Kul –
Pours a straw yellow colour, aroma of barley malt. The taste is light, slightly bitter with a gentle maltiness and an under current of sweetness. Weak body with little depth on the tongue. Not a beer for me.
Michael Moore –
Well balanced, subtly flavoured beer. Smooth and refreshing, one to buy again.
Paul Boniface –
A very easy drinking helles. Quite a nice drink but there are better helles out there.
Barrie Taylor –
One of the best pilsners on the market. Clean crisp and refreshing.
Chris Meechan –
A very nice export lager with a heavy malt bill and sweet crisp finish.
WF –
The first Tegernseer I tried which resulted in needing to try all the rest. Perfect Helles, not overly sweet with a touch more body from the slightly higher ABV. Excellent.
Luke Manley –
Really good helles. I’d go for the Tegernseer spezial however.
David Beckham –
Not bad, very easy to drink.
Would order again
