A rather standard weissbier. Lacks the sweetness or colour of some of the bigger names. If you like a ‘light’ weissbier, this may be for you. Slightly bitter in the aftertaste.

Nce and easy drinking beer. You can feel the ‘wheat’ very nicely. Not flavoured in any way, makes it good drink to tea or after work.

The first thing that hits you when you take off the capsule and begin to pour this golden wheat beer is the aroma of banana, which you can then taste in its frothy, but not overly thick, head. It’s a 5.4% beer but it tastes much lighter than that. Lovely aromatic flavours to this one. A definite ‘buy again’ for me!

An excellent wheat beer. Fruity, with a taste of pear drops but also full bodied with powerful wheat flavour and good alcohol content. Shows the typical cloudiness of this type of beer and has a full, long lasting head. If I could only choose one beer to drink for the next year, this would be very, very close to the top of my list.

For me a great weissbeer.
Full bodied and well balanced with gentle banana and clove aromas,it leaves a nicely sweet aftertaste.
First one from this brewery and will certainly be having it again.

Lovely weissbier, this is the third Freising beer I taste and it did not disappoint, 5 star like I gave the kristall and the dunkel

A nice hefeweizen. A decent sweet banana flavour with quite a full tanginess. Very smooth with typical haze and expanding head.

If you like sweet Hefweizen’s you will love this. There is a distinct taste of banana and it has loads and loads of body for the ABV. Definitely one of the best I have tried in this category.

Just about my favourite German wheat beer. A somewhat unique flavour that I love. A shame it’s not always available!

Fantastic to now get in Scotland, lived in Friesing for many years & this us my favourite beer. Don’t forget to leave a little beer in the bottom to swirl up the hefe & pour through after pouring the rest! Makes the taste & beer complete!

Really nice smooth wheat beer, lower in ABV than many other so a delight to drink two or three without feeling it. Would buy again for sure
