Bottles and labels can and do vary. This means that the images shown on our website may not be the same as current stock items. If the bottle or label is important please check before ordering. Please be aware that even if the label looks different, that product will be the same product if it has the same barcode. Because we work from the barcode, if producers does not make us aware of a label change we often miss updates until we are contacted about it. Apologies in advance for this.

Please note that it isn’t always possible to provide a perfect looking bottle/label as this very much depends on the condition they are received in from our supplier.

We occasionally have items available in the shop that are not available to purchase online, usually because they are too fragile or large to post.

Unfortunately we do not offer gift packaging.

We currently use DHL, but we do also trial other couriers alongside from time to time.

We don’t currently ship outside the UK and Ireland but it may be something we offer in the future.

Unfortunately our carriers do not offer a time specific delivery service. We can send orders to arrive on a specific date but we would remind you that whilst 98% of deliveries arrive within the stated timeframe we cannot 100% guarantee the day. Couriers do often offer delivery windows on the day, with the option to rearrange if necessary.

If you are ordering as a gift we would ask you to take this into account when arranging delivery.

Please note that we are unable to offer weekend deliveries.

Our boxes come in 6s, 12s, and 24s. By no means are you required to order in those quantities, but it is worth bearing in mind when ordering. A full box also helps to reduce the small chance of damage, as empty compartments collapsing can be a cause of this.

Please check the tracking first, as they may provide an explanation but we welcome the opportunity to nip issues in the bud. Either call us on 01553 812000 or email our [email protected] to hear from our customer service team. Check out delivery details for more information.

  1. Stujago

This is a great hefeweizen. A supremely balanced weissbier. It has a great fizz and an expanding, foamy head. A lovely banana flavour with a moderate tang. Joint favourite wheat beer for me. Refreshing!!

  2. Matthew Stephens

I have tried many weissbiers and visit Germany around twice a year. We always look forward to a visit to the Hofbrauhaus in Munich (yes its touristy but always fun) mainly for this beer. My go to is Weihenstephaner (also been to their brewery) and this is as good. Favourite is Weihenstephaner Vitus which is a weizenbock (another type of weissbier). If you’re ever in the Hofbrauhaus have a look at the history of weissbier in Bavaria – very interesting! And have one of these!

  3. Richard Martin

A really tremendous weissbier. Great head, colour and just the right amount of fizz (i.e. not a lot). Lovely smoothness when drinking and slightly sweet aftertaste.

  4. Arek

Feel spirytus in the beer. Great head and banana flavour doesn’t help.

  5. Paul C

    A good quality weissbier.
Well balanced, smooth, with a creamy head,it has a gentle banana flavour and leaves a nice, slightly bitter aftertaste.

  6. Jens

If you can’t get to the Hofbräuhaus, this bottled version is the next best thing. Typical Weissbier aromas of cloves and banana, perfectly balanced, never cloying and with a dry hops finish.

  7. Kristin

Nice head, refreshing, good carbonation. Bit of a citrus kick

  8. Eric Akrill

This is a little beauty, without doubt. It pours with a reasonably frothy, creamy-looking head which holds medium term. Initial flavours of banana and clove/nutmeg and a sweetish hoppiness to it. The colour is lighter than other wheats and there are definite hints of citrus. The after taste lingers on the tongue giving a very slight bitterness at the end. Very moreish, shame that I only ordered two as they’re already out of stock! A definite recommend from me.

  9. Karl Rogers

Classic wheat beer full of flavour keeps its head fantastic

  10. Kul

Typical hazy off amber colour, fantastic aroma, a little light in texture, held a good creamy volumous head but a little weak in body. I would consider buying this again as HB always deliver good and in many cases great beers.

  11. Ian S

Lovely balanced weissbier, smooth and refreshing. One of the best weissbiers on offer.

  12. Colin A

Amazing Weiss. So good! Can’t go wrong with a Hofbrau, a total classic.

  13. WJ

Very refreshing for a weisse, quite light. Sweet wheaty flavour as expected, pours an off golden and nicely cloudy. It’s good but it’s not a Franziskaner, it doesn’t have the depth or same degree of body.

  14. Luke Manley

Very nice beer. Would buy again.

  15. MG

Quite possibly my favorite beer. I hope Beers Of Europe continues to stock it. The Hofbräuhaus in Munich is a good time.

  16. Mark Woodward

A reasonable wheat beer. I find Hofbrau beers rather inconsistent – some a great, other just average.
