Bottles and labels can and do vary. This means that the images shown on our website may not be the same as current stock items. If the bottle or label is important please check before ordering. Please be aware that even if the label looks different, that product will be the same product if it has the same barcode. Because we work from the barcode, if producers does not make us aware of a label change we often miss updates until we are contacted about it. Apologies in advance for this.

Please note that it isn’t always possible to provide a perfect looking bottle/label as this very much depends on the condition they are received in from our supplier.

We occasionally have items available in the shop that are not available to purchase online, usually because they are too fragile or large to post.

Unfortunately we do not offer gift packaging.

We currently use DHL, but we do also trial other couriers alongside from time to time.

We don’t currently ship outside the UK and Ireland but it may be something we offer in the future.

Unfortunately our carriers do not offer a time specific delivery service. We can send orders to arrive on a specific date but we would remind you that whilst 98% of deliveries arrive within the stated timeframe we cannot 100% guarantee the day. Couriers do often offer delivery windows on the day, with the option to rearrange if necessary.

If you are ordering as a gift we would ask you to take this into account when arranging delivery.

Please note that we are unable to offer weekend deliveries.

Our boxes come in 6s, 12s, and 24s. By no means are you required to order in those quantities, but it is worth bearing in mind when ordering. A full box also helps to reduce the small chance of damage, as empty compartments collapsing can be a cause of this.

Please check the tracking first, as they may provide an explanation but we welcome the opportunity to nip issues in the bud. Either call us on 01553 812000 or email our [email protected] to hear from our customer service team. Check out delivery details for more information.

If you have changed your mind for whatever reason, you can consult our returns information, or get in contact on 01553 812000.

  1. Dean Griffiths

Iv’e been been meaning to try a Kulmbacher beer for a while and this is the first one I’ve got to.

Golden in appearance with a white head that stays true for a whilst. A slightly sweet aftertaste but very smooth and moorish.

Pretty impressed by this, very nice indeed.

  2. Otto The Bier Dude

Pours golden with a decent white Head, aroma of herbs, grain, bitter and toasted bread, flavor of caramel, herbal hops, malty backbone, bitter and crisp, medium bodied, nice one

  3. Chris

Nice golden colour, smooth, light bodied with medium carbonation. Slightly sweet, very easy Helles to drink.

  4. Stujago

This Dortmunder is more bitterness than sweetness. It has quite a grainy flavour to it. Crisp, clean and smooth. Good if you want something with a bit more bite than a helles.

  5. Doc From Aberdeen

Nice Smooth and Full Bodied Beer Best Served In A Small Frosted Glass

  6. Kul

A fantastic clear golden light yellow, with a light aromatic aroma. A good bright white foamy head and a gentle taste on the tongue. Prefer the fruh kolsch….

  7. Jens

Not too strong and fairly bitter for an export, about half-way between a Helles and a Pils, I’d say. Brilliant beer with lots of character while at the same time easy-drinking.

  8. Paul Boniface

A very interesting full flavour beer, very smooth and full bodied.

  9. Paul C

    A great Export beer.
Golden, clear and smooth with spicy and malty flavours.
Leaves a pleasantly sweet and unique aftertaste.
    Moorish and really enjoyable.

  10. DSK

A very nice export with a deliciously smooth flavour. It goes down very well so try not to have too many lined up and waiting in fridge.

  11. Kris

This ticks nearly all my boxes for my favourite type of beer – light enough for easy drinking yet a depth of flavours to keep things interesting!

  12. Harry Watson

A lovely beer that I could drink all night again nice ,smooth malty.

  13. Michael Moore

Ticks all the boxes, slightly stronger, clear, malty, very smooth and refreshing.

  14. WJ

Much sweeter than their helles with a spicy taste and masses of body. Very very yummy 🙂

  15. Luke Manley

Very nice beer. Would buy again.

  16. William Johnson-Smith

I’ve had the Kulmbacher Lager Hell before but never the Export. I can best describe it as a grown up version of the Lager Hell. It has a fuller body and the hop and malt flavours are more pronounced.

  17. Jamie K

Very moreish, I’d definitely buy again

  18. Jordan Long

Actually a little sweet for my taste, somewhat of a more malty helles vibe but at 5.4 may have been the extra kick. Neverless, enjoyed this from what’s fast becoming my fave brewery. Worth a try!
