Other Information

Eku Hell is a Helles lager from Eku Brewery in the Bavarian region of Germany. Founded in 1872 in Kulmbach, Eku quickly became a brand known across Germany for its quality Bavarian beers. Eku Hell is a mildly hopped and finely spiced Helles lager at 4.9% ABV – a versatile, easy-drinking lager, which pairs well with traditional Bavarian dishes such as pork knuckle or sauerkraut. Pouring a golden colour, Eku Hell offers up aromas of honey and floral hops. The flavour is mildly fruity, with a barely-perceptible bitterness and crisp body. Buy Eku Hell for a fresh, mild Helles lager from a traditional Bavarian brewery.

Bottles and labels can and do vary. This means that the images shown on our website may not be the same as current stock items. If the bottle or label is important please check before ordering. Please be aware that even if the label looks different, that product will be the same product if it has the same barcode. Because we work from the barcode, if producers does not make us aware of a label change we often miss updates until we are contacted about it. Apologies in advance for this.

Please note that it isn’t always possible to provide a perfect looking bottle/label as this very much depends on the condition they are received in from our supplier.

We occasionally have items available in the shop that are not available to purchase online, usually because they are too fragile or large to post.

Unfortunately we do not offer gift packaging.

We currently use DHL, but we do also trial other couriers alongside from time to time.

We don’t currently ship outside the UK and Ireland but it may be something we offer in the future.

Unfortunately our carriers do not offer a time specific delivery service. We can send orders to arrive on a specific date but we would remind you that whilst 98% of deliveries arrive within the stated timeframe we cannot 100% guarantee the day. Couriers do often offer delivery windows on the day, with the option to rearrange if necessary.

If you are ordering as a gift we would ask you to take this into account when arranging delivery.

Please note that we are unable to offer weekend deliveries.

Our boxes come in 6s, 12s, and 24s. By no means are you required to order in those quantities, but it is worth bearing in mind when ordering. A full box also helps to reduce the small chance of damage, as empty compartments collapsing can be a cause of this.

Please check the tracking first, as they may provide an explanation but we welcome the opportunity to nip issues in the bud. Either call us on 01553 812000 or email our [email protected] to hear from our customer service team. Check out delivery details for more information.

If you have changed your mind for whatever reason, you can consult our returns information, or get in contact on 01553 812000.

Light aroma of summer flowers, very mellow yellow golden look, the palet is almost flowery, soapy after taste, but not unlikable, reminds me of Bass in taste from years ago, very, very drinkable, not fizzy like mass produced designer beers, goes well with curry,.

  2. Dean Griffiths

Light in colour with a nice white fluffy head. Very smooth and very easy to drink. Big thumbs up from me I’ll certainly purchase again

  3. Gavin H

If you ordered a lager (without specifying) and were served this, you’d be delighted.

Fresh, crystal clear, good head and a gentle flavour. Add to that, very smooth and a decent alcohol content and you’ve got a classic Helles.

  4. Chris

Sweet like honey, malty and low medium carbonation. Too sweet for me for a Helles.

  5. Kul

Beautiful fresh straw colour, clean with a snow white foamy head. Aroma is floral reminding me of a sunny day in the garden, tastes clean, full, yet light. A great beer for those long warm days in the garden, bring on the summer.
One that will be a regular on my list!!!

  6. Otto TheBierDude

Pours clear golden colour with a huge good lasting white head. Aroma of floral hops and grains. Taste of grainy malt, mild floral hops, easy to drink!

  7. Richard Allen

Pours a lovely golden colour. Very light and smooth. Easy to drink and not very much aftertaste. Would suit those who enjoy a light drink. Perhaps a little too subtle for my taste.

  8. MaxF

A lovely clear golden hell with white head. A fine malt taste and mild hop taste makes it a good hell in my opinion. I prefer the hell style to lager to avoid the hop taste. Not quite as good as the Augustiner hell but close. I will buy again.

  9. Andy Nichols

Good head, nice taste, but fades off too quickly.

  10. Michael Moore

Similar to the Pils but the tastes are slightly more subtle. Difficult to choose between the two, really.

  11. Stujago

It’s very smooth and sessionable. Low amount of fizz. It has a very mild flavour. Maybe lacking the character of some of it’s peers. Grainy undertone.

  12. Paul Boniface

A decent session pils with good flavours and easy to drink.

  13. WJ

Crisp with a fairly subtle sweet flavour. Pours a lovely golden colour without too much head. Very refreshing for a Dortmunder.

  14. Harry Watson

I like this beer another smooth session beer of which you can have a few without going over the top.

  15. Tim Bright

Chiefly from South Germany. Clean and smooth, beautiful aroma of honey, slight sweetness with a malty fruity aftertaste. Maybe a perfect Helles lager ?

  16. Luke Manley

Nice beer but there better hells out there.

  17. Jamie K

Great beer for the warmer months. Easy drinking and a great example of a Hells done right. Would recommend
