Westmalle Tripel is a bright, golden yellow Trappist beer. It is a complex beer with a fruity aroma and a beautiful, nuanced hop nose. It tastes sweet and creamy in the mouth with a bitter touch of fruit flavour. An exceptional beer with plenty of finesse and elegance and a wonderfully long finish.
Westmalle Tripel is sometimes called the “mother of all triples”.
This beer was brewed for the first time at the Abbey of Westmalle in 1934 in the new brewing hall. Today’s recipe has remained virtually unchanged since 1956.

Always a pleasure to drink this classic. Even better in a big bottle!
