Lupulus Brune is a Belgian strong ale from Les 3 Fourquets brewery. Les 3 Fourquets is a Belgian small-batch brewery based in the Ardennes region, founded in 2011. The Lupulus range is bottle conditioned in champagne bottles, this secondary fermentation providing depth of flavour and natural carbonation.
Lupulus Brune pours a light brown colour, with an orangy-citrus aroma rising from the beer. The beer is unusual for a Belgian strong ale, with a lighter colour and rather more hop character than one might expect from a more traditional variation. At 8.5% ABV, the beer is deceptively easy-drinking. Buy Lupulus Brune for a balanced, smooth Belgian strong ale from an Ardennes microbrewery.

Murky brown thin tan head Aromas of chocolate malts and faint prunes My tongue finds raisins coffee grounds faint chocolate. A well balanced great tasting strong good brown ale but not the most attractive in the glass.
