Other Information

The Adnams Brewery was bought back in 1872 by George and Ernest Adams, when the Brewery was known as The Sole Bay Brewery. Since the company was incorporated in 1890, it has remained one of the UK’s most successful independent breweries. Adnams produces a range of great beers along with gin, vodka and whiskey through their Copper House Distillery. The Jack Brand range of beers from Adnams has been designed to appeal to drinkers looking for something a little different. Adnams Jack Brand Ease Up IPA is a sessionable golden beer that is lower in ABV but packed with flavour. This style of beer is often referred to as ‘easy’ in the US and so the name ‘Ease Up’ is a nod to the American beers that inspired it. Adnams Jack Brand Ease Up IPA is brewed with Lager, Munich and Cara malts and oats fermented with a blend of American yeast strains and hopped with Mosaic, Centennial, Simcoe, Galaxy, Goldings, Chinook and Amarillo. It is golden in colour with a delicious mango aroma. Melon and pine flavours on the palate with hints of grapefruit followed by a clean and dry finish with subtle sweetness from the barley. Adnams Jack Brand Ease Up IPA pairs well with grilled fish or a fruity Thai curry.

For some products supply can be inconsistent, whether that is at the brewery itself or how often we or its supplier imports it. For products that are out of stock, you can sign up to be notified of its return on the product page. From there, as soon as we book the stock in we send an email to you.

Bottles and labels can and do vary. This means that the images shown on our website may not be the same as current stock items. If the bottle or label is important please check before ordering. Please be aware that even if the label looks different, that product will be the same product if it has the same barcode. Because we work from the barcode, if producers does not make us aware of a label change we often miss updates until we are contacted about it. Apologies in advance for this.

Please note that it isn’t always possible to provide a perfect looking bottle/label as this very much depends on the condition they are received in from our supplier.

We occasionally have items available in the shop that are not available to purchase online, usually because they are too fragile or large to post.

Unfortunately we do not offer gift packaging.

We currently use DHL, but we do also trial other couriers alongside from time to time.

We don’t currently ship outside the UK and Ireland but it may be something we offer in the future.

Unfortunately our carriers do not offer a time specific delivery service. We can send orders to arrive on a specific date but we would remind you that whilst 98% of deliveries arrive within the stated timeframe we cannot 100% guarantee the day. Couriers do often offer delivery windows on the day, with the option to rearrange if necessary.

If you are ordering as a gift we would ask you to take this into account when arranging delivery.

Please note that we are unable to offer weekend deliveries.

Our boxes come in 6s, 12s, and 24s. By no means are you required to order in those quantities, but it is worth bearing in mind when ordering. A full box also helps to reduce the small chance of damage, as empty compartments collapsing can be a cause of this.

Please check the tracking first, as they may provide an explanation but we welcome the opportunity to nip issues in the bud. Either call us on 01553 812000 or email our [email protected] to hear from our customer service team. Check out delivery details for more information.

If you have changed your mind for whatever reason, you can consult our returns information, or get in contact on 01553 812000.

  1. mark burman

a good example of the style easy to drink but with a bit of complexity, if you like this style of beer this will not disappoint

  2. Matthew W

Pours a clear brown-amber with small white head, nice retention and lacing.
Aroma of orange peel, caramel malts, hints of spice.
Its quite bitter throughout with some pine resin notes but quite citrusy and zesty with a good caramel malt background, tingle of spice in the finish. Clean tasting.
    Enjoyable.

  3. John Jones

Clean and fresh tasting beer with hints of mango and pine to start with, then develops into quite a zesty mouthful and pleasing finish. another goody from Adnams.
