Aromatised with coriander, orange peel and liquorice.
Inedit means “Never been done before”. In cooperation with the brew master of Estrella Damm, Inedit was crafted by the globally acclaimed chef Ferran Andria, Juli Soler and sommeliers Ferran Centelles and David Seijas from ElBulli Restaurant.
A skilfully brewed blend of lager and wheat beer styles, Inedit uses a combination of barley malt, wheat, hops, coriander, orange peel, yeast and water. Uniquely brewed to create a complex aroma and opaque appearance, a floral nose leaves a sensation of fresh yeast and sweet spices. Lightly carbonated with a creamy texture, the soft full body leaves a long and lasting finish.
Not the Estrella you think you know –
Everybody will assume this beer is a subtle variation of the well know, Estrella Damm with a red label in most gastro pubs these days. Think again. This is a creamy textured beer which I strangely first came across in a tapas restaurant in Birmingham. I fell in love. Creamy, smooth and full of flavour. Although not quite the same than draught, try something different.

Spiced aroma. Pepper and ginger are coming through. Different, that’s for sure! When sipped, there’s a light kick of wheat. The finish is clean, palatable and fairly brief.

To put it simply, this is a very enjoyable and easily drunk wheat beer. It pours with a bubbly head which holds and the initial aroma is spicy ginger (as another reviewer has mentioned). On first tasting, I also get a peppery bite to it, which is interestingly different. Standard colour for a wheat, hazy, golden but slightly darker than some. Another definite recommend from me and one I will be buying again.

Gets top marks for me, this is not your ordinary pub Estrella.
That sounds quite an oxymoron but the spanish brewery created and brewed a great belgian white beer!
Very smooth and with a gingery taste, the finish is very refreshing and remembers a lot of wheat beer from Belgian’s independent breweries.
Planning to stock on this one up as soon it comes back on stock.

I’m a fan of Estrella already, so was nice to enjoy another variation on this. Like and easy to drink, and a cool bottle too!

A smooth, light beer with a spicy, fruity taste… ideal with with tapas!
