No, we also have a shop based on the outskirts of King’s Lynn, Norfolk.

Travelling along the A10 between Downham Market and King’s Lynn, you will come to a small village called Setchey, turn next to J.S.W Car Sales on to Garage Lane and we are located approx. 100m down the lane on the right-hand side. Our address and opening hours can be found on the Contact Us page.

Yes, there are age restrictions in place. In the United Kingdom, the legal age to purchase alcohol is 18 years old. Beers of Europe strictly adheres to these regulations and by agreeing to our Terms and Conditions on checkout you confirm that you are over 18 years old. We are always happy to see if we can help you track down an item. Please feel free to contact us on our ‘request a product page

For some products supply can be inconsistent, whether that is at the brewery itself or how often we or its supplier imports it. For products that are out of stock, you can sign up to be notified of its return on the product page. From there, as soon as we book the stock in we send an email to you.

Bottles and labels can and do vary. This means that the images shown on our website may not be the same as current stock items. If the bottle or label is important please check before ordering. Please be aware that even if the label looks different, that product will be the same product if it has the same barcode. Because we work from the barcode, if producers does not make us aware of a label change we often miss updates until we are contacted about it. Apologies in advance for this.

Please note that it isn’t always possible to provide a perfect looking bottle/label as this very much depends on the condition they are received in from our supplier.

We occasionally have items available in the shop that are not available to purchase online, usually because they are too fragile or large to post.

We do not have a minimum purchase amount, but delivery charges may apply.

For orders between £25.01 and £60, delivery is charged at £5.99 (3 working days) or £7.99 (next working day).  Some areas are excluded and will incur extra charges. Please see postcodes listed in our Terms and Conditions.

Unfortunately we do not offer gift packaging.

We currently use DHL, but we do also trial other couriers alongside from time to time.

We don’t currently ship outside the UK and Ireland but it may be something we offer in the future.

Unfortunately our carriers do not offer a time specific delivery service. We can send orders to arrive on a specific date but we would remind you that whilst 98% of deliveries arrive within the stated timeframe we cannot 100% guarantee the day. Couriers do often offer delivery windows on the day, with the option to rearrange if necessary.

If you are ordering as a gift we would ask you to take this into account when arranging delivery.

Please note that we are unable to offer weekend deliveries.

Our boxes come in 6s, 12s, and 24s. By no means are you required to order in those quantities, but it is worth bearing in mind when ordering. A full box also helps to reduce the small chance of damage, as empty compartments collapsing can be a cause of this.

Please check the tracking first, as they may provide an explanation but we welcome the opportunity to nip issues in the bud. Either call us on 01553 812000 or email our [email protected] to hear from our customer service team. Check out delivery details for more information.

If you have changed your mind for whatever reason, you can consult our returns information, or get in contact on 01553 812000.

  1. Schultheiss Pilsener

This is the beer proffered by the Berlin infantry brigade stationed in Berlin since 1945 until they left the city it is also admired by tourists from all over the world it is just at the top of German brewed pils golden fresh and satisfying THE TASTE OF BERLIN it is my personnel favourite and I recommend it to all but don’t buy to much leave some for me

  2. Stujago

Definitely agree with the previous review. It’s a lovely lager. A quintessential German pale lager. Very clean, crisp, smooth and balanced flavours. And most importantly, tasty! Lovely texture and the fizz is great.

  3. Allan

Highly recommend – nice pilsner with a perfect head if poured properly.

Tip: pour into a cold rinsed glass (ideally 0,3l size) max for an authentic taste.

  4. John Fullarton

First discovered this beer whilst being based in Berlin as part of the Army. In my opinion, one of the best beers from Germany and a reminder of 2 happy years spent there many years ago.

  5. Robert Rickard

Superb pilsner. Highly recommended. Only the Germans can make such great beer.

  6. Andy Nichols

Tasty smooth balanced pilsener. Not too harsh and very drinkable. Well worth a go!

  7. Jim

Really enjoyed this. Lovely crisp, dry Pils – can’t go wrong. Recommended session ale.

  8. Marcus Wellings

Great tasting beer no after taste really refreshing
    Highly recommended

  9. Dean Griffiths

A really nice tipple of a Pilsner. Smooth and crisp and preferable to the other offerings I’ve had from the Berliner Kindl brewery.

  10. Paul C

My first beer from the Berliner Kindl brewery.
    Not disappointed.
A crisp, sharp and beautifully dry Pilsner.
A smooth and balanced texture with spicy aftertaste.
    Excellent.

  11. Christopher Ingram

This is by far the best beer to be bought in Berlin! Unfortunately it seems fewer places in Berlin are selling it on draft. My wife, who is not a big beer drinker, is like a beer monstyer when we visit Berlin, and now whenever I have it at home. Superb taste, with no after-taste that can be found in too many beers. Goes down too smoothly, lol! If you have never atsted German beer, try this first – it is like the true ‘Golden Nectar’!

  12. Richard Allen

A classic pils. A lovely balance of bitterness and hops. Nice carbonation and just the right amount of aftertaste. Very drinkable.

  13. Chris

Light bodied, medium carbonation, lovely smooth, spicy and bitterness throughout. Slightly dry Pilsner but still very nice!

  14. Christine Saunders

    nice smooth easy drinking beer

  15. Paul Boniface

A lovely pils, light bodied, clean tasting and very easy to drink.

  16. Hew Herbert

Schultheiss Pilsener takes me straight back to my Army days in Munsterlager German where it was one of the local lagers, light on the palate and drinkable at any time of the day especially with a barbecue complements the food very well I recommend this to try for something slightly different.

  17. Jim Brown

A great German Pilsner, highly recommended. Order was easy and delivery punctual.

  18. Anthony Hall

I tasted my first Schultheiss way back in 1972, whilst serving with the Royal Military Police, and stationed in Berlin, the ‘home’ of the beer.
Whilst shopping on here I saw this beautiful beer for sale, and immediately ordered a few bottles. Arriving a few days later, it was warm, so in the fridge, it had to go. Back in 72, the bottles were the small dumpy the new ones larger and holding 0.5l. The first trial was bliss the bier tasted the same, but a little fizzier, but it went down a treat. This modern-day version is just as good as the original, a really great bier, light and easy to drink anytime of the day, have converted several friends into drinking this excellent Bier. Another order on the way!

  19. John Evans

I have had many an argument with Schultheiss beer when serving in Berlin many years ago, and she won every time! It is a lovely smooth, refreshing Pilsner with a good head, especially when drunk ice cold, and it is wonderful to be re acquainted with it trough Beers of Europe.

  20. John May

Just like being back in Berlin except that the bottles have changed shape from short and stubby to tall and elegant. The taste has not changed though – still excellent.

  21. Kevin Flynn

A very refreshing beer, tastes just as good now as when I first tasted it over 40 years ago. Ordering is really easy and delivery is extremely quick.

  22. Michael Moore

Another quality bier, every bit as good as those from Bavaria!

  23. Milan Macurak

Another example of a perfect German beer brewing. Clean and smooth with a nice finish without any aftertaste which I love with Pilsener type of beers. Another one: anytime and anywhere.

  24. Kris

Fantastic clean and crisp German pilsener

  25. David Davies

Beautiful pilsner. Brings back lovely memories of my time in Berlin in the 70s. We drank a lot of this beer in the pubs and bars of Berlin.

  26. Barrie Taylor

New beer tried. Not disappointed, lovely crisp light beer

  27. Jamie K

A very smooth, clean and refreshing beer. I bought three bottle and instantly regretted not buying more. A well earned reward after a hard days work

  28. Mike Brandwood

I first tasted Schultheiss in 1967 as a young squaddie stationed in Berlin. The memories the taste brings back priceless, and just as good as it tasted way back then.

  29. Steve Shadwell

This is one of my favourite German beers coming out of Berlin. Nice, smooth and easy to drink.
I shouldn’t really be posting this as someone else might buy some leaving less for me.

  30. JL

Superb example of pils and highly prized. Heavy on the hops all the way through and a refreshing bitter finish that has you reaching for another. Clean, looks fantastic in the glass and a treat. Love it.

  31. Raymond Housley

A true German beer with a smooth finish and very refreshing without being too sharp like some beers which will be to most tastes. Not bought since 1978 in Berlin and it has not changed, although the bottles are bigger now.

  32. Waine Wilkins

Nice beer I will buy this again. Swift delivery
Witch was left in my safe place. Well done Beers of Europe

  33. David Beckham

    Not bad, drinkable. Lingering aftertaste
