A pretty decent Hefeweizen.
It pours with a frothy head and gives malty and banana aromas and a unique spicy taste.
For me it lacks the lasting depth of other Hefeweizen but is a good sessionable drink.

Looks really good. Beer in the glass fine turbid, nice head. Starts malty-yeasty, not too dry, fine fruity like banana. Modest sourish. Finish with some lemon hints. Well balanced and very drinkable. Nice!

A very good hefeweizen. No expanding, foamy head to this one. Very balanced sweet banana and tangy flavour. A nice spicy fizz to it. It didn’t last long in the glass whilst sitting in the sun! Refreshing.

I had never heard of Dampfbierbrauerei Zwiesel so bought one of each that were on offer. This is not as full bodied as most wheat beers but has some interesting spicy notes. Well worth a try.
