Original Dortmunder Premium lager Beer was probably almost a pioneer in Dortmund, the stronghold of its own type of beer. Already at the turn of the century a powerfully hopped Dortmund Actien-ale was offered to man – as the new class began to make a sensation – known as beer. The DAB was one of the few very early pioneers of a later-dominant trend.
The tart taste of fresh premium DAB is in fact one of the finest Pilsners of our time.
Dab Pilsener – Premium with tradition.

I love this German lager. It’s goes down easy, has good flavour and most importantly is refreshing. Managed to source it easily in Canada but it’s been much harder to source in the UK. So pleased I’ve found a stockist!

Does what it says on the er…can. A good Dortmunder lager, reasonably priced and beats most of the lager options in a UK Supermarket. Even Germany’s weaker offerings still impressive.

I’m not sure about it being ‘one of the finest pilsners of our time’ but it is a good beer. I’m buying it regularly as it’s a nice one to have at the end of a working day. The price is very reasonable too. I recommend this beer

Brought this lager because I drank it in Germany nice tasting better than lagers in supermarkets.

It’s a big can o beer, it’s pretty cheap and it’s different to what you have in your local supermarket. That’s three stars alone. Taste is decent but not particularly distinctive or special. One you’d be happy to hand round to your mates at a barbecue.

Hadn’t seen this beer anywhere for years, until I found it here. It’s fairly middle of the road when compared to others of its type, but still a drinkable and enjoyable beer.

I used to be stationed in Dortmund so was pleasantly surprised that DAB was available in cans at Beers of Europe. Nice refreshing quality pilsener with a decent strength. Most enjoyable all the time for any occassion. Will re-order again and again.

I hadn’t had a can of D.A.B. in years. The last time was when the can was white. It didn’t disappoint It’s a classic Dortmund beer, halfway between a Helles and a Pilsner, nicely balanced, crisp, a light maltiness and slightly grassy,
