Berliner Pilsner is a German pilsner produced by one of Germany’s leading breweries, Berliner Kindl Brauerei. This is a premium pilsner made in Berlin and follows the guidelines of the German purity law which is sign of excellence for this beer. On the label you might notice the Berlin Bear icon, which is in fact Berlin’s mascot which appears all over the city under the name ‘Berlin Buddy Bears’.
Berliner Pilsner is leading beer being produced in Berlin and has been available in the UK since 2015, allowing Brits the opportunity to try a fine example of a German pilsner. You will find that this beer is light with a crisp, spicy bitterness to it.

First discovered this beer on a stag trip to Berlin. Top class pilsner. Find it very easy to drink with a meal.

Amazing pilsner, very easy to drink. Enjoy with proper meal or snacks.
Andy Nichols –
Nice creamy head on the pour. It’s got the bitter pilsner taste from start to finish. Classic pilsner.
Richard Allen –
Classic pilsner flavour, though with more bitterness than most. A long aftertaste. A good drink that goes well with a rich meal. Not one for those who prefer light beers.
Richard Davison –
After an initial sharpness on your first few sips, this surprises you and becomes a smooth crisp drink which is a true delight, very nice with food or on it’s own.
Paul Rushton –
Good pilsner , though better on draught
Craig Wilson –
Excellent crisp Pilsner. Keep stocking it and I will keep buying it

Decent Pilsner with a hint of grapefruit. Medium carbonation and a touch sharp but nice all the same
Alan Muhammed –
Brilliant Pilsner, slightly sharp – and the same as you would get in a Berlin späti, but delivered to the comfort of your own home here in the UK.
Chris H –
Real easy drinking pilsner. Crisp, light and extremely quaffable.

Lovely and smooth beer considering not one of the big Bavarian breweries. Very easy drinking, nice and light but with enough taste to keep coming back for more. Recommended.

First time I’ve tried this one, having previously drunk Schultiess and BK pils, found it very refreshing during this hot weather. Will certainly be buying again.
Kul –
A rich light white foamy head, a light body, bright straw yellow colour and has a typical pilsner aroma. Taste is crisp, with a clean bitter finish.
Worth a try, if you like a pilsner.
Michael Moore –
Light and refreshing. Easy to drink, would make a good session beer.
Steve Shadwell –
I tried this beer because it’s brewed by the Berliner Kindl brewery and I like their beers.
This one didn’t fail to impress me, a golden pilsner, full bodied with a smooth crisp taste.
If it comes back in stock I shall certainly be buying some more.
JL –
100 PER CENT classic pilsner example. Bitter vibe from the hops is long lasting and very refreshing. You can really session this. Proper pils and can’t recommend enough.

Outstanding beer, can’t go wrong with Berliner
Mark Woodward –
A fair pilsner but there are better out there.
