Lee Hamilton –
Love this Pilsner, not the most complex but well rounded and easy drinking. Brings back great memories of sitting in the centre of Berlin in the freezing cold with a currywurst and a Stein of Berliner.
Allan –
Easily forgiven for a mini-champagne bottle; the taste of the lager will not disappoint. Light fizz with a strong enough kick, a superb beer not to be missed.
Stujago –
Better than average pilsener. Clean, crisp with nice fizz and nice level of bitterness.
Mark Payne –
Having lived in Berlin imagine my delight having found berliner kindl. What was better it was on my door step in 2cdays of ordering. Excellent service
Craig Wilson –
My favourite beer from my favourite city. Excellent customer service and delivery as usual.
Andy Nichols –
Light tasting from the off but builds in flavour to nice pilsner finish. Very easy drinking and doesn’t feel like a 5.1%. Nice crisp and refreshing.
Gavin H –
A lovely golden colour, good head but not long-lasting. Slightly over-hopped compared to most Pilseners and hence a slightly sharp and bitter aftertaste. Not quite as smooth as, say a Leikeim Hell, but still an enjoyable lager and far superior to most of the mass-produced gassy rubbish typically served in an English pub.

Love this pilsner. Fond memories or drinking this in Berlin before Covid struck. Clear and crisp, lovely taste. This is a must for German lager drinkers.
Richard Allen –
A cracking pils. Quite dry and hoppy, but not heavy and very easy drinking. One that shall buy again,
Paul Rushton –
Nice pilsner, great service
Tom Ray –
Nice beer but just didn’t quite do it for me compared to other pilsners out there.. A little sweeter than most and not the best aftertaste.
Dean Griffiths –
Solid if not completely outstanding Pilsner.
Stuart Roach –
This is one of my favourite pilsners – and beers – of all time. I usually buy a range of beers when I make a purchase and this is the first one that I’ve placed a specific order for.
Paul Boniface –
A nice tasting pils, but for me lacking a little depth. A light taste but there are better pilsners on the market in my opinion.
Stuart –
Fantastic beer. Just as good as I remember from my trip to Berlin
Paul Stelb –
The character and history of Europe’s most dynamic capital tastes of Berliner Pilsner.
Kul –
A very light clear straw colour, great nose, fabulous voluminous white head, a good body, smooth on the palate with a bitter finish.
Paul C –
A really smooth Pilsner.
Quite hoppy and very dry.
Crisp and sharp with a bitter aftertaste which I enjoy. Seems lighter than a 5.1 ABV.
Been to Berlin twice – will keep an eye open for this next time.
Kris –
A tasty smooth pils with some hoppy notes coming through – definitely one of the finest non-Bavarian German beers I have tried
Derek B –
A good example of German beer but with no distinguishing characteristics, never the less delicious
Sarah H –
Me and my husband have loved this beer for years after our trips to Berlin, being able to get it from the comfort of our home is just perfect to have with some homemade currywurst. It is a refreshing beer which will leave you wanting more than just one.
Will be buying more in the future
Milan Macurak –
Very dry and smooth beer. Iconic taste of Berlin perhaps?
Jamie K –
Great beer. Full bodied even though not as strong a ABV as others I’ve tried. Very smooth and great as a session beer for a warm sunny day spent in the garden
Otto The Bier-Dude –
Crisp, clean, herbal and refreshing; nice subtle bitternes. Food Pairing: Leberkäse.
John Evans –
Always had an argument with this and other Berliner pilsners, when I was stationed in Berlin. They won every time!. I am delighted to be able to argue again through Beers of Europe.
G Young –
Great lager brought back memories when I served in Berlin this was my lager of choice so purchased a few and it still has that distinctive Berlin taste .would be great if it was still available in cans nevertheless bottled stuff if still as good
Steve Shadwell –
This has to be my all time favourite German beer. I first tried this nearly forty years ago and my opinion hasn’t changed.
This is a crisp smooth beer best served cold. It has a satisfying head that doesn’t disappear in a few moments which is always a good sign and it’s brewed in accordance to the German purity law. What’s not to like.
Tim Bright –
A beautiful pilsner, crisp clean and smooth with an initial hint of sweetness followed by a long dry finish. This has everything I love in a pilsner.
Marvin –
Love the stock reminder email system which means I don’t miss out on getting this great beer, quick delivery too – what’s not to like
Vik Milner –
Very popular beer but got reminder that was back in stock so was able to purchase excellent service with super fast delivery 5***** thank you keep up the good work
Jordan Long –
Dry, hoppy, and very easy drinking. I enjoy Jever more than anything else but this is a close 2nd. Like the kick from 5.1 ABV, touch sweeter because but most welcome.
Tony Hartley –
Top notch beer. Great taste, good lasting head and smooth as ice cream.
