Rince Cochon Aromatisee Au Whisky is a Belgian strong ale flavoured with whisky, from Haacht brewery. Flavoured with malt whisky, Rince Cochon Aromatisee Au Whisky takes on the smoky, malty flavours from the spirit, and combines them with the fruity Belgian ale character for an intense, complex beer.
Pouring a rich amber colour, Rince Cochon Aromatisee Au Whisky offers up woody, smoky whisky aromas. The flavour is malty, with floral, herbaceous notes coming through from the Belgian ale. Cross between a string pilsner and a wheat beer.

This beer pours amber or gold, with a head which dissipates quickly. The aroma is slightly yeasty, yet the ‘Aromatisee au whisky’ is disappointingly absent. It is most definitely there in the taste though, a nice, warming alcoholic glow which nicely balances the spiciness so typical of run-of-the-mill Belgian tripels.. A very nice beer.

Pours a hazy amber has a firm head Aroma of boiled barley sweets, peppery yeast Tastes woody with watery butterscotch the only sign of whisky is in the nose, fair brew not the best tasting of the Rince Cochon brand

Sweetish and fruity. Not sure where the whisky is meant to come in but it’s a pleasant enough tripel.
