This beer looks like it means business right from the start. It is dark red brown with a good fluffy head and has a rich spicy malt nose with a few bitter orange notes. The palate has a big hoppy bite and a rich, fruity, dark coffee character, which tries to become roasted in the finish. Also known as La Binchoise Brune with a 7.7% abv.
Also available in 750ml bottles.

A pretty good beer. Nothing necessarily outstanding but nice enough and for the price you won’t find me complaining.

Tastes very like a stout, rather sharp, tastes strong. Probably good value for money

Interesting Dubbel. After a couple of hours refrigeration I drank this slowly and noticed how different flavours developed as the beer warmed. Would recommend.

A medium pour produced a murky umber body with a quickly fading beige head Mostly gave a sweet, dried fruit smell and brown sugar First taste boozy then bitter hops toast, coffee then dry. A bit like an English brown ale on steroids, if only it looked better in the glass.
