Het Kapittel ABT is a Belgian Tripel strong ale from Leroy Breweries. Leroy Breweries was formed from the merger of two historic Belgian breweries, and the history of brewing in the company dates back to 1572.
Pop the cork on Het Kapittel ABT, presented beautifully in a 750ml sharing bottle. Pour the sumptuous amber nectar to release aromas of bready malts, spice and fruit. The flavour is complex and lower in bitterness than expected for a Tripel. Full-bodied and subtly sweet, this beer is very drinkable considering the strength at 10% ABV. Buy Het Kapittel ABT for a smooth, balanced Belgian strong ale from a brewery with a rich brewing heritage.

Another beer from Van Eecke of Watou which I love. A beautiful amber colour with a fine white head, this 10% Tripel is refermented in the bottle. There is very little sediment in this beer so careful handling and pouring is not so important as it is with other beers. A wonderful beer that is well worth a try.
