Pedro Domecq Loustau was born in France in 1824 and had 10 children, although that is not what he is remembered for. This grocer created Fundador Brandy in 1874, 20 years before his death. In the present day, Fundador is exported to more than 30 countries worldwide, with the Philippines being the surprise lead importer. This Spanish grape brandy is distilled using Airen and Palomino grapes, and is aged in sherry soaked solera casks . A rich, smooth and full flavoured brandy.
