Beers of Europe Are Proudly Sponsoring The Norfolk BrOARds In The 2020…

Teams from across the world come together to participate in the Atlantic Challenge that will take them more than 3,000 miles West from San Sebastian in La Gomera, Canary Islands to Nelson’s Dockyard English Harbour, Antigua and Barbuda.

3 women. 1 boat. 1 ocean. 3,000 miles.   The Norfolk BrOARds are three Norfolk women who decided they wanted to row an ocean. A business analyst, a councillor and a postie; all members of the King’s Lynn Coastal Rowing Club, when asked if they wanted to take part in what is billed as ‘The World’s Toughest Row’, all replied with a resounding Yes!  In December 2020, Kate Palmer, Helen Hogan and Sandra Squire will join that small group of adventurous teams to cross the ocean using only oars.

One of the primary reasons for undertaking such an enormous challenge is to use it as an opportunity to raise money for charities that are dear to them and these are RNLI, MIND, Huntingdon’s Disease Association, Ellie’s Love and Nelson’s Coastal Watersports Trust.  We know that they will be grateful for all the support shown to them and we will be following their journey via their Facebook and Twitter pages and will be sharing their progress on our social media pages.

Sponsorship is still available and details can be found via their website or alternatively get in touch via [email protected].
