No, we also have a shop based on the outskirts of King’s Lynn, Norfolk.

Travelling along the A10 between Downham Market and King’s Lynn, you will come to a small village called Setchey, turn next to J.S.W Car Sales on to Garage Lane and we are located approx. 100m down the lane on the right-hand side. Our address and opening hours can be found on the Contact Us page.

For some products supply can be inconsistent, whether that is at the brewery itself or how often we or its supplier imports it. For products that are out of stock, you can sign up to be notified of its return on the product page. From there, as soon as we book the stock in we send an email to you.

Bottles and labels can and do vary. This means that the images shown on our website may not be the same as current stock items. If the bottle or label is important please check before ordering. Please be aware that even if the label looks different, that product will be the same product if it has the same barcode. Because we work from the barcode, if producers does not make us aware of a label change we often miss updates until we are contacted about it. Apologies in advance for this.

Please note that it isn’t always possible to provide a perfect looking bottle/label as this very much depends on the condition they are received in from our supplier.

We occasionally have items available in the shop that are not available to purchase online, usually because they are too fragile or large to post.

We do not have a minimum purchase amount, but delivery charges may apply.

For orders between £25.01 and £60, delivery is charged at £5.99 (3 working days) or £7.99 (next working day).  Some areas are excluded and will incur extra charges. Please see postcodes listed in our Terms and Conditions.

We use a variety of thick and sturdy cardboard boxes and dividers to hold each bottle individually. Any remaining spaces are filled with biodegradable air bags to stop movement of the contents. Glasses are wrapped in bubble wrap and cardboard to ensure they arrived in once piece.

When placing your order please add the details at checkout.  We regret that if your order has been packed and is ready to despatch that amendments cannot be made.

Unfortunately we do not offer gift packaging.

We currently use DHL, but we do also trial other couriers alongside from time to time.

We don’t currently ship outside the UK and Ireland but it may be something we offer in the future.

Unfortunately our carriers do not offer a time specific delivery service. We can send orders to arrive on a specific date but we would remind you that whilst 98% of deliveries arrive within the stated timeframe we cannot 100% guarantee the day. Couriers do often offer delivery windows on the day, with the option to rearrange if necessary.

If you are ordering as a gift we would ask you to take this into account when arranging delivery.

Please note that we are unable to offer weekend deliveries.

Our boxes come in 6s, 12s, and 24s. By no means are you required to order in those quantities, but it is worth bearing in mind when ordering. A full box also helps to reduce the small chance of damage, as empty compartments collapsing can be a cause of this.

Please check the tracking first, as they may provide an explanation but we welcome the opportunity to nip issues in the bud. Either call us on 01553 812000 or email our [email protected] to hear from our customer service team. Check out delivery details for more information.

If you have changed your mind for whatever reason, you can consult our returns information, or get in contact on 01553 812000.

  1. Ben Cawley

First time I’ve ordered this collection and I’m over the moon I did! The quality of the beers is great and as ever the speed of delivery and communication of the company was top notch!

  2. Amit Lwow

I’ve yet to drink all of the 12 beers but the ones I’ve tried so far definitely had a winter or festive character, whether it be the strength, the colour or the sweetness, not to mention the beautifully illustrated labels.
The stand out beer so far was the Hofbräu Winterzwickl, which is much more powerful and interesting than their Sommerzwickl with a lovely dark brown colour and sweet malty aroma.
Overall it’s not just a box of German Christmas beers but a collection of 12 quality beers from well established breweries.
I will definitely order it again next year.

  3. Paul C

I was eagerly awaiting for this order to be available and it was delivered on time and before Christmas.
The beers that I have had so far have been superb.
Smooth and citrusy, peppery, caramel, chocolate hints and every spice that you associate with Christmas – all with a unique flavour
Erdinger Schneeweisse my favourite so far – a rich Hefeweizen.
Finally, a big thank you to Chris for amending my order at the last moment without fuss.
Best Christmas wishes to all the team.

  4. Sandra Hodgson

Bought this mixed case as a stocking filler and my only regret is that I didn’t order more !!! Absolute yumminess in a bottle x The scents and tastes of the German Christmas Market without the flight x well done BOE 12/10

  5. Graham Williams

truly fantastic beers and delivered very quickly

  6. Kristin

The beers complemented our Christmas food very well, lots of full flavoured lagers. The Eisbock was very pleasant

  7. Chris Meechan

An excellent selection of rare and unusual festive beers from Germany ranging from Weisbeers to Festbiers. The lagers and marzens included in particular are incredible – no one brews lager like the Germans.

  8. Steve Baxter

A excellent range of German Xmas beers, well worth purchasing.Beers excellent taste.
I also find the beer labels are interesting designs, and these have some lovely ones.cheers

  9. Vince

Unfortunately they all taste very similar to me, so far (9 sampled) Easy to drink and pleasant but none have stood out. Nice labels.

  10. william hunter

Treated myself to two boxes Brilliant ales kept one box back for Christmas definitely not for sharing

  11. MikeD

A great mixture of weissbiers, marzens, festbiers and winter lagers. On the whole just a bit stronger than your normal German beer but pretty quaffable nonetheless.

  12. Christine Saunders

Very good beers, all having a “Christmas” flavour.
    Will purchase again next year.
All the beers tasted very similar, and very Christmassy!!!

  13. Jez Harper

A excellent selection of beers, with some lesser known breweries and styles represented that you wouldn’t normally come across in the UK. Thoroughly enjoying working my way through this case as part of a homemade 2021 “Beervent” calendar.

  14. AK Taylor

My two Twelve Beers of Christmas cases were one of the highlights of my 2021 festive season. Looking forward to more next year, and plan to buy extras of the particular standouts – Erdinger Schneeweiss (a stronger-than-usual Weißbier), Hofbräu Winterzwickl (the darkest beer here with great spicy flavours), Altmühltaler (the best of the amber beers), and Hofmühl (a splendid Wintermärzen). Thanks for such a great case of otherwise “hard-or-impossible-to-get-in-the-UK” beers.

  15. John Kennedy

Excellent selection of German beers, will definitely be back next year
