Brouwerij De Moersleutel

Moersleutel Brewery is a Dutch craft brewery based in Alkmaar, around 25 miles north of Amsterdam. Founded in 2016 by brothers Pim, Tom, Rob & Max, the engineers-turned-brewers abide by one simple rule: only make the beer that they love to drink themselves. Think bold, in-your-face flavours, full-bodied brews and higher ABVs. If you like a beer that delivers a shock to the senses, explore our range from Moersleutel Brewery today.

Crank the Juice is the perfect choice for IPA lovers. This hazy NEIPA is dank and juicy, packed full of mango, citrus and piney hop flavours. At 6% ABV, it’s robust and warming, an explosion of tropical fruit with a soft, smooth malt backbone.

For fans of a sweeter beer, explore Can Brûlée Barley Wine. At 9% ABV, this dark red pastry barley wine is Crème Brûlée in a can. Thick, creamy and full-bodied like its namesake dessert, the heady aroma of caramel and vanilla is intoxicating.

Or, explore Moersleutel’s coconut pastry stout – Macaroon Machine. A luxurious, 10% ABV monster, this dark, decadent beer is packed with chocolate, vanilla and coconut flavours. A marriage made in heaven – and perfect as an after-dinner treat.
Last, but very much not least, Motor Oil. Moersleutel’s 12% Russian Imperial Stout is an inky black, chocolate-forward stout with a beautiful balance of complex flavours. This is a treat for the senses, and if you like moody, intense stouts, get your hands on a can of Motor Oil.

They might be fairly new on the brewing scene, but the siblings’ engineering background drives their passion for excellent brewing quality. The multi-talented beer engineers even design and build machines to help smaller breweries scale up their production!
