Founded in 1995, The Wolf Brewery is situated in the heart of Norfolk and continues to go from strength to strength. They pride themselves on producing high quality, real ales brewed with the finest local ingredients.
Sirius Dog Star is a smooth malty red ale. A blend of six malts give a uniquely sweet liquorice flavour and a soft, fruity finish.
This is an award winning beer, including SIBA’s Overall Champion Cask Ale 2018.

Wolf Brewery Sirius Dog Star is 500 ML and 4.4% ABV. Its a pretty impressive porter that has a nice smokey taste. Its a full flavour ale that goes down well.

I lovely malty, moreish porter type beer with a wonderful ox blood / roast chestnut colour. The perfect accompaniment to a seat in a pub next to a real fire. One for Christmas!

I’d disagree with the other reviewers in categorising this as a porter. It’s a lovely mild deep red ale with a fruity, nutty and malty flavour. Great head to it and very smooth. Would be a great pub pint.

In my opinion neither a mild or a porter, but a rather lovely smooth deep red malty and nutty beer, which is just the job to settle down with of an evening by the fire to keep the wolf at bay.

Very nice. You can see why it’s an award winning beer. Great flavour. And I agree with Stujago, this is not a porter.

This is so comlex in as much as it’s like a cross between a porter, a mild and a bitter. It’s closer to a Red Ale than anything else.
Superb ale though with a wonderful head and at 4.4% is a great session ale
