Our golden ale, 4% ABV – well-hopped character, citrus notes and a crisp finish.
A blend of hops, from Europe, USA and New Zealand ensure that there is plenty of depth of flavour but this still aims to be a good solid, traditional golden ale which will appeal to a wide range of ale lovers.
Brewed using the finest Maris Otter barley, with just a small amount of crystal malt to give a rich golden colour.
What’s in a name? – watch the hare embrace all around it and dance in celebration.
David Gouldson –
Citrus flavours, hoppy, refreshing beer.
Matthew W –
Clear gold with small white head. Aroma of grains and sweetness with some mild floral and spice notes. Taste again quite sweet, bready malts, pleasant almost mellow floral and citrus notes, tingle of spice. Smooth mouthfeel. Very sessionable and easy to drink.
Alan Sinclair –
A very hoppy tasting ale with a strong bitterness at the end. A very lively bottle conditioned beer so a little cloudy. Very drinkable.
Gordon McGeachie –
A crisp fruity ale with a slight sharpness, tasted it a bit like an IPA at first, quite refreshing.
