Marston’s 61 Deep is a pale ale from Burton-based brewery, Marston’s. Based in the town of Burton-on-Trent since 1834, the brewery was initially established here for the water. The town is located on a thick layer of gypsum, which gives the water exactly the right mineral content for brewing excellent beer. The name ‘61 Deep’ comes from the depth of the well at the brewery. Pouring a pale golden colour, Marston’s 61 Deep offers up a fresh, zesty aroma. On the palate, fruity tropical flavours are perfectly balanced with a citrus bitterness. Buy Marston’s 61 Deep for a drinkable pale ale from Burton-on-Trent’s oldest brewery – Marston’s.
