Mad Squirrel De La Creme is smoother than Morgan Freeman in a velvet suit and dark as a moonless night. At 4.5% ABV De La Creme uses added lactose sugar which gives you sweet tasting chocolate, caramel and cream flavours. More than just another milk stout, De La Creme is really the crème de la crème.
Mad Squirrel Brewery started In 2010 with a small, mix and match, second hand brew kit, which produced 50,000 litres in its first year. A decade later the Mad Squirrel brewery has evolved and now produces over 1 million litres annually and counting.
From recipe creation and raw material selection, through to brewing and fermentation, laboratory analysis and packaging is conducted in-house by a highly qualified brew team, which is led by their classically trained German Master Brewer. The focus is on producing natural, unfiltered and unpasteurized beers that are creative and different, whilst also remaining commercial, enjoyable and (mostly) sessionable, the brewery has recently been awarded SALSA+ accreditation.
