Elgoods is a family owned brewery housed in the North Brink Brewery in the heart of the fens. The Brewery was established in 1795 and was one of the first classic Georgian breweries to be built outside of London.
Elgoods Cambridge Bitter was awarded is a mile brown bitter made with the finest Pale Ale malt and a small amount of roast barley. The malty, fruity aroma and satisfying flavour is followed by a bitter finish. The good balance of malt and hop character makes for a pleasing session beer.
Faiers –
An excellent ‘drinking’ bitter, well hopped and well balanced and good colour, everything a good bitter should be. Hopefully it will be back in stock soon.
Matthew W –

Aroma is malty with toffee, spice and floral-grassy notes.
Taste of toffee, raisins fruity tang, decent bitterness, a little tinny and metallic.
Good smooth body for the strength, drying finish.
Decent overall.
