Away Days is a football themed beer company, priding itself on supplying consistently good beers and ales to football fans. Their ethos is “beautiful beer for the beautiful game”.
What separates Away Days from being just another beer company is not only that they just focus on football, but they also actively speak to and work with football fans to find out their likes and dislikes in beer and ale. They want the fans to have a part in the process of bringing the beers to market, whether that is chatting to fans on forums or holding tasting and feedback sessions in football affiliated establishments, each tipple needs to have had input from the fans.
Boncho is a malty dark ale, super silky and super smooth, much like the Ipswich town player himself, Boncho Genchev.
David Gouldson –
Malty aroma, fruity flavours and a slight bitter aftertaste.
Christopher Eio –
It’s a reasonable dark ale. Good to try but probably won’t come back to this one.
Clive Palmer –
Nice and dark with a hint of sweetness that hit the spot, lifting it up from an average brew.
Gareth Roberts –
Very malty and dark, even a Norwich Stout drinker would like it.
