Brewed by 8 Sail Brewery who were established in 2010. The brewery nestles in the shadow of Heckington Windmill, Britain’s only eight sailed windmill, from which it takes it’s name.
With a complex balanced flavour, this beer is brewed in the style of a Northern brown ale with six different malts and Bramley Cross hops.
David Gouldson –
Fruity, herbal flavours, hints of caramel. Subtle bitterness.
John Jones –
On first taste I got hints of ginger rolled in with with the different malts and a little herb on the palate. A satisfying bitterness with the lingering aftertaste which I enjoyed very much. This brewery creates some lovely beers.
