Carib is a lager of European origin. It is a pale golden straw colour with a rich head formation. It is slightly aromatic, with a neutral balance between malt and hops, sweet and bitter. A medium bodied mouth feel leads directly to a semi dry finish with only a hint of bitterness. No accented hop or malt character.
Refreshing drinkability for a parched and thirsty palate. Carib is brewed using sugar as an adjunct. The “clean label” policy applies, i.e. no additives that have to be declared.

Sweet malt on the nose wth a hint of grain. Taste of malt with a touch of hops. Bitter finish. Moderate carbonation. Fairly light bodied. Not a fan if I’m honest.
Chris –
Sweet and light, little watery but doesn’t take away from the taste. Similar to Corona but nicer.
Gareth Henry –
A great refreshing beer, love this.

Despite what the description says, this beer is made in Trinidad and is not a European beer! The saying goes, “A beer is a Carib” and there’s nothing like an ice cold Carib on a summer’s evening.
Christopher Leno –
Fairly standard light malty lager with not much going on in body or taste. Fairly refreshing. Could be better in summer or warmer climes!
ELISE ARMITAGE –

This is a hard to find product & I’m not surprised that the Trinidadians & Tobagonians don’t want to see it leave their shores. I salute the T & T’s in currently making the best lager on the planet with Germany coming second & New Zealand coming third. Not your obvious stronghold for lager but just put your pompous German drinking head to one side & open your mind, buds & throat to the beautifully balanced flavour. that is Carib. Mercifully, having gone from 5.2% down to 5.0% ABV hasn’t affected the flavour, although I can actually tell the difference in a blind drunk tasting… Not really! Buy it from BOE, you won’t get it for less unless you live in the Caribbean.

Exquisite lager, reminds me straight away of being back in Antigua, easy to drink and extremely refreshing. Genuinely can’t get enough

An absolute must on a hot summers’s day. Easy to drink, very refreshing and one to be on repeat all summer long.

For a summer’s day, I can see the appeal. Or maybe if you’re on holiday on an island. But really, to my taste, it is very thin and watery, and doesn’t have much flavour. But not everyone agrees!

Refreshing lager for a hot day.
