The other side of Super Bock. A special black beer. Dark in colour, full bodied and creamy, produced from special malts that attained a unique balance between the moderate sourness and the typical sweetness of an English Stout.
A soft aroma of caramel with a hint of fruit. A toasted malt flavour, neither sour nor sweet.
Christopher Leno –
Lovely and smooth and creamy. Tastes like a bock, but also has the qualities of a stout to some extent. Classed as a stout though seems closer to a bock to me.
Pedro Benevides –
Very good beer with a smooth taste. Not bitter at all. Good soft stout.
Steve Hawkins –
Biscuity aroma. Malty and fairly bold flavour when sipped. The finish is dry and pretty bitter. Enjoyed this.
Chris H –
A velvet, malty stout. Distinct coffee notes paired with a chocolaty smoothness. Very moreish, will certainly buy again.
Kristin –
Malty, smokey flavour. Nice balance between bitter & sweet
David Gouldson –
Chocolate and coffee aromas. Quite malty with coffee and hints of caramel in the flavour.
Chris Meechan –
I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed this beer. A dark, malty stout with a sweet, roasty finish.
Alan Sinclair –
A Portugese stout and quite nice. I’d definitely drink this instead of the normal lager type beers if I were in Portugal.
Andrew R. –
A smooth, dark and roasty stout with a nice nod to chocolate and coffee tones. A solid brew I’d be happy to have again!
