Neil Curran –
Absolutely fantastic beer. Been drinking German pilsners steadily since 2017 and this is definitely in my top 5,if not top 3. Perfect for the garden on a hot sunny day. 9/10
Andy Nichols –
I thought I’d try this to compare against Fruh Kolsch which I love. This is not as smooth or refreshing but definitely fruitier. Didn’t have as much head after pouring as I would have liked but still a very nice beer.
Krid Marina –
Rivals Fruh as the best of the bottled Kolschs
Steven Allen –
Quite hoppy, slightly bitter and dry, much like a hells larger. Not my favourite style.
David Hanson –
Very drinkable. Slightly sweet to begin, giving away to some bitterness.
Dean Griffiths –
Slightly more hoppy and not quite as smooth as some other Kolsch but still a very fine tipple.
DSK –
If you love the kolsch style you’ll appreciate Reissdorf. It’s a bit more hoppy than most, but it’s got a nice finish and it’s one of those you can drink all day. It’s slightly more robust than my ultimate favourite Gaffel, but extremely drinkable. Just make sure you spend a few extra quid and buy yourself a proper kolsch glass to serve it in – you’ll enjoy it more!
Stujago –
Medium-bodied, dry, fizzy, slightly tart lager. Nice and smooth. Much more similar to a pilsener than a helles lager. Good stuff! 4.25/5
Chris –
Nice and hoppy, medium bodied and quite smooth with floral notes. Nice amount of malt but slightly dry. Never tried Kolsch before and was extremely surprised how good Reissdorf is.
Jens –
Great example of the top-fermented, filtered Kölsch style, a touch hoppier than Früh or Gaffel and for me probably the best you can get outside of Cologne.
Chris –
This is my favourite Kolsch and I like them all. It’s got a lot of flavour and goes down very well – just need to get a couple of Reissdorf glasses when they’re next in stick now!
MARK BAINTON –
A nice Kolsch style .Well balanced malt to hop ,clean and refreshing very good ordering more.
Christine Saunders –
nice smooth easy drinking beer
Paul Boniface –
An excellent Kolsch beer, really smooth, with a good after taste. Will certainly be buying again
Kul –
Wonderful white volumous head, sweet aroma, great body and a sweet slightly bitter taste. Very smooth. A beer I would definately have again but still prefer the fantastic Fruh Kolsch.
Electric Dan –
After several years of thorough research of Kolsch, both at home and in Germany, This is my first choice. A great looking foamy head but not overly carbonated. Reissdorf has the correct balance of sweetness to hops for me. The flavours given by top fermenting also make Kolsch, and especially Reissdorf of special interest to British real ale types looking for something a bit different.
Craig Ryan –
Slightly floral nose. Pours bright pale gold, with a good white head. Some sweet malt, but the majority of the flavour is grassy, refreshing & a little dry. Just as I remember a good Kolsch!
Michele Brooks –
Reissdorf has always been our family Kolsch of choice. To find it here is wonderful. I have ordered before without a hitch (bottles always in tact) and delivery is very fast. Would definitely recommend this company and the product.
Kris –
Very smooth and crisp Kolsch – I would probably put it on a par with the Gaffel and just slightly ahead of Fruh
Chris Meechan –
Sweet, light, crisp and dry and very easy drinking..
WF –
I prefer Fruh but, it’s a bit of a toss up between this and Gaffel for second spot. All 3 are great though, this one is very refreshing with nice sweetness.
