For some products supply can be inconsistent, whether that is at the brewery itself or how often we or its supplier imports it. For products that are out of stock, you can sign up to be notified of its return on the product page. From there, as soon as we book the stock in we send an email to you.

Bottles and labels can and do vary. This means that the images shown on our website may not be the same as current stock items. If the bottle or label is important please check before ordering. Please be aware that even if the label looks different, that product will be the same product if it has the same barcode. Because we work from the barcode, if producers does not make us aware of a label change we often miss updates until we are contacted about it. Apologies in advance for this.

Please note that it isn’t always possible to provide a perfect looking bottle/label as this very much depends on the condition they are received in from our supplier.

We occasionally have items available in the shop that are not available to purchase online, usually because they are too fragile or large to post.

We do not have a minimum purchase amount, but delivery charges may apply.

Unfortunately we do not offer gift packaging.

We currently use DHL, but we do also trial other couriers alongside from time to time.

We don’t currently ship outside the UK and Ireland but it may be something we offer in the future.

Unfortunately our carriers do not offer a time specific delivery service. We can send orders to arrive on a specific date but we would remind you that whilst 98% of deliveries arrive within the stated timeframe we cannot 100% guarantee the day. Couriers do often offer delivery windows on the day, with the option to rearrange if necessary.

If you are ordering as a gift we would ask you to take this into account when arranging delivery.

Please note that we are unable to offer weekend deliveries.

Our boxes come in 6s, 12s, and 24s. By no means are you required to order in those quantities, but it is worth bearing in mind when ordering. A full box also helps to reduce the small chance of damage, as empty compartments collapsing can be a cause of this.

Please check the tracking first, as they may provide an explanation but we welcome the opportunity to nip issues in the bud. Either call us on 01553 812000 or email our [email protected] to hear from our customer service team. Check out delivery details for more information.

If you have changed your mind for whatever reason, you can consult our returns information, or get in contact on 01553 812000.

  1. Stujago

This is a lovely lager. I love the standard Paulaner helles lager but this has the malty, wheaty, hay-like tastes but it is maybe a bit more bitter. Very sessionable.

  2. PK LINCLONSHIRE

An aroma of light yeast, a golden glow, again a smooth german masterpiece, a taste of yeast, lemon zest and hops, another very drinkable beer, but not hangover indussing, an after taste of vanilla, mmmmm

  3. Jim

Excellent. Highly recommended. Some interesting depth for a lager.

  4. Clive Gorman

Highly recommended, exactly what you would expect from Paulaner.

  5. Steven Allen

A malty dryness with hints of lemon and aniseed and hoppy bitter grapefruit finish. A very good beer but out of all this years Oktoberfest beers it’s not quite as good as the Hofbrau.

  6. Amanda Vinson

Malty with a bit of bread.

  7. Mark Woodward

I like almost all the Oktoberfest beers and this, along with the Lowenbrau Oktoberfest brew, is my favourite. Absolutely delicious. Quite strong but full of flavour and not overpowering. Paulaner beers are always good.

  8. John Mochan

    A classic Oktoberfest lager

  9. Matt H

Smooth, crisp and refined. I tried 3 other beers the first occasion I had this and they were all really quite nice, but this was the best of the night, no hesitation.

I only wish I’d bought more of them before they went out of stock.

I most appreciated it chilled, but not straight-out-of-the-fridge cold.

  10. Robert Harkin

You would not know this is a strong beer. Very light to taste and refreshing.. Paulaner make great beers

  11. Barry Smith

Nice tasting beer, one of the Oktoberfest range so a little stronger. Would definitely buy his one again, goes down well.

  12. Peter

a clean crisp refreshing beer would buy again

  13. Allan

Strong, sharp with a tiny bit of sweetness to it. The extra ABV is very noticeable, prefer this to the normal Paulaner which is maybe a little strawy.

  14. Steven P.

A must have Oktoberfest special beer. Good flavour but not overpowering. Easy to drink given the higher than normal percentage. If you like German beers then I recommend this one. Crisp taste and long lasting

  15. Kristin

Of the 5 oktoberfest beers I have tasted this is the most hoppy and it seems to lack the complexity of some of the others. I chose to review this last because it just didn’t stand out to me, a very average beer

  16. David Hanson

Not particularly complicated but nicely crisp & hoppier than most but very drinkable which lifted my score

  17. Michael Moore

The additional ABV makes a difference, slightly more body and a different feel in the mouth. A nice refreshing beer.

  18. Christine Saunders

Lovely smooth beer, easy drinking would be better if we were at Oktoberfest!!

  19. Alex Ginge

A very refreshing Oktoberfest beer. Get some giant pretzels and enjoy.

  20. Dean Griffiths

A cracking higher strength offering from Paulaner, very nice indeed.

  21. Steve Baxter

A smooth, caramel taste beer,it’s 6% but does not feel like that ,refreshing,Amber colour, enjoy another classic Oktoberfest beer

  22. Kris

Can’t go wrong with an oktoberfest beer from one of the finest Munchen breweries

  23. Robbie Almond

This is one of my absolute favourite beers. This should be available everywhere and consumed by everyone.

  24. WF

Of all the official Oktoberfest brewers I would have to put this one at the bottom of the list. It’s hard to believe it comes from the same brewery as Salvator. It gives the impression it’s mass produced and lacks flavour.

  25. Paul C

High strength Oktoberfest beer but it goes down remarkably easy.
Much tastier chilled than cold,it is dry, sharp and leaves a pleasantly bitter and malty aftertaste.
    Prost !!

  26. Justin Hoffmann

A refreshing, but at 6%, strong amber beer, lightly carbonated with a nice bitter tang that leaves you wanting more.

  27. hugh rogers

    Very drinkable, strong Oktoberfest beer.

  28. Gavin Harrison

A top-quality beer with excellent clarity, colour and taste. The only thing that cost it that coveted 5th star was a rather weak and short-lasting head. This could easily beguile you into becoming a session beer, but that 6% abv would probably make you regret it later.

  29. CB

    Excellent Oktoberfest effort!

  30. Otto TheBierDude

Extremely impressive Oktoberfest beer. One of the best, if not the best that I have ever had. Dark reddish amber colour, crystal clear, pours with a perfect 1″ of head. Smell is very typical and fairly sweet, taste was just wonderful, the start and finish were totally different but each was quite good. Go try this brew!

  31. Mike

Malty and slightly sweet with a dry finish.

  32. Bernard Hawcroft

Magnificent; it ha a real depth of flavour.
    Recommended wholeheartetly.
