Bottles and labels can and do vary. This means that the images shown on our website may not be the same as current stock items. If the bottle or label is important please check before ordering. Please be aware that even if the label looks different, that product will be the same product if it has the same barcode. Because we work from the barcode, if producers does not make us aware of a label change we often miss updates until we are contacted about it. Apologies in advance for this.

Please note that it isn’t always possible to provide a perfect looking bottle/label as this very much depends on the condition they are received in from our supplier.

We occasionally have items available in the shop that are not available to purchase online, usually because they are too fragile or large to post.

Unfortunately we do not offer gift packaging.

We currently use DHL, but we do also trial other couriers alongside from time to time.

We don’t currently ship outside the UK and Ireland but it may be something we offer in the future.

Unfortunately our carriers do not offer a time specific delivery service. We can send orders to arrive on a specific date but we would remind you that whilst 98% of deliveries arrive within the stated timeframe we cannot 100% guarantee the day. Couriers do often offer delivery windows on the day, with the option to rearrange if necessary.

If you are ordering as a gift we would ask you to take this into account when arranging delivery.

Please note that we are unable to offer weekend deliveries.

Our boxes come in 6s, 12s, and 24s. By no means are you required to order in those quantities, but it is worth bearing in mind when ordering. A full box also helps to reduce the small chance of damage, as empty compartments collapsing can be a cause of this.

Please check the tracking first, as they may provide an explanation but we welcome the opportunity to nip issues in the bud. Either call us on 01553 812000 or email our [email protected] to hear from our customer service team. Check out delivery details for more information.

If you have changed your mind for whatever reason, you can consult our returns information, or get in contact on 01553 812000.

  1. Otto The Bier Dude

Pours a very dark and opaque black with a tan, foamy head that dissipates slowly. Very strong caramel, chocolate, and banana aromas. It is medium sweet with mild flavors of caramel. It is medium in body with a slightly slick texture. Which is surprising given its dark color and sweet flavor, as I would have expected it to be a bit thicker and creamier. Carbonation is average and the finish is long. Overall, a very nice beer that I’m sure I will be drinking again in the near future.

  2. Richard Martin

Pours with a rich, lingering head. Sweet aroma and attractively deep, dark colour. Quite light in taste and with a bit of fizz, but still some sweetness in the aftertaste.

  3. Eric Akrill

Another little cracker from the Kapuziner wheats of the Kulmbacher Brewery which pours with a very stout-like colour and head. The first taste gives off chocolate flavours mixed with banana and an almost burnt (roasted) caramel tint to it. The colour is a lovely, dark hue and the after taste is quite pleasingly sweet with, strangely, a slightly bitter finish to it. A great brew which has gone down all too easily. Not the cheapest available, but worth the extra expense. I’ll buy it again, for sure.

  4. David Hanson

Quite sweet, pleasant drinking, odd flavour, reminded me of dandelion & burdock, in a good way

  5. Kul

A fantastic rich dark mahogony hazy colour, as you would expect from a hefe dunkel. Smells fantastic, looks great and tastes out of this world. Have to buy this one again just like the Fruh Kolsch, a must have.

  6. Simon Tomlinson

Tight creamy tan head stayed on a dark oak coloured body.
    Malt, demerara & raisin aroma.
Medium bodied, smooth with a tingle on the back.
Malt, raisin, berries, jam & brown sugar tastes with a tangy fruited finish.
    Nice one.

  7. Kristin

    Pleasant malty weissbier

  8. Stujago

A great mahogany colour and rustic head to this beer. One of the least sweet weizens I’ve tried however. It has a slightly sweet, malty, tangy flavour rather than the staple banana taste.

  9. Kris

Interesting flavours coming through in this dark wheatbeer that I may try again

  10. Chris H

A lovely dunkelweizen. Great colouring, smooth tasting and with a perfectly balanced maltiness.

  11. WJ

This is very well balanced, neither the wheat or malt overpower the other. Pours a deep brown with a creamy think head. Very nice indeed.

  12. Chris Meechan

Lovely dark wheat beer. Malty and sweet with banana and toffee flavours.

  13. Paul C

Great dark colour and head to this Dunkelweizen.
The flavours are predominantly malty rather than traditional banana.
Slightly sweet, this is a uniquely balanced beer.
    Very enjoyable.

  14. Jens

Excellent dark wheat beer, sweet and malty with some smoky notes and a long finish. I particularly like that a hint of yeast still comes through with all the other flavours going on.

  15. FoggyMountainMan

    Simply a very good dunkelweizen.

  16. Bob H.

Very nice bottle conditioned dunkel weissebier. Pours with a thick creamy head, slightly hazy, as you’d expect, and with a good level of carbonation. Slightly sweet, yeasty and malty with a hint of smoke (unless that came from my pipe).
