Flensburger Frei is an alcohol-free pilsener from Flensburger Brewery. This pilsener is brewed according to the traditional German lager brewing methods, and then the alcohol is gently removed to retain the full flavour and aroma of Flensburger Pilsener. Flensburger Frei is ideal for drivers, those looking for a refreshing beer without the effects of alcohol. At 0.5% ABV, Flensburger Frei does contain some residual alcohol, but this is not enough to produce any adverse effects – at this level, the alcohol in the beer is processed by the body about as quickly as you can drink it.
Flensburger Frei is light and bitter, without the malty sweetness of some non-alcoholic beers. Pouring a pale straw colour from its eye-catching flip-top stubby bottle, the flavour is balanced and refreshing. Perfect served chilled on a hot summer’s day.

In my glass clear gold with a good white head The aroma is hoppy at first then cucumber It tastes bready, watery but has a good hoppy bitterness overall refreshing. Possibly one for the days I do not want to drink alcohol
Chris Meechan –
Very generic alcohol free beer. Hoppy with hints of bread.
Otto The Bier-Dude –
Clear golden, stable white head. Grainy aroma. Grainy flavour, dead bitter hops. There are better low-alcohol alternatives.
Peter Dangerfield –
Very holy, quite bitter, refreshing, Not at all bad.
Alan Sinclair –
Pours very clear with a decent head and It tastes like a beer should do.
You’d be hard pressed to detect that it’s alcohol free.
Definitely one of the best AF beers around and one that I’d definately buy again.
