Erdinger Weissbier crystal is particularly welcome as a tasty thirst-quencher for hot summer days.
This specialty wheat beer gets its crystal appearance from a particularly long filtration process, known in the industry as “fine filtration”, whereby the beer becomes completely clear.
This gives Erdinger Weissbier crystal its sparkling and refreshing character – which also makes it the ideal wheat beer for warm summer days.
Brewed in strict accordance with our own traditional recipe, Erdinger Weissbier crystal meets the highest quality standards and satisfies the most sophisticated palate.

Huge fan of this elegant beer, perfect for a summer’s day (or any tbh)! Crisp without being overly hoppy or fizzy, this beer is a regular favourite… delicious!
Mark Woodward –
I find Erdinger beers a little bland compared to the likes of Paulaner, Huber, Thurn and Taxis etc. Very lively in the glass regardless of how slowly you pour.

Pours with nice frothy head, clean & very refreshing

Tastes like an Erdinger should but with less punch which I found slightly disappointing.
Eric Akrill –
Very nice, clear (which you’d expect) hue with a good, lasting head giving an initial bitter taste with a nutmeg-like background. The colour is a light, golden shade and the wheat is clerly there in the after taste, which has a bitter finish to it. Nice, if a bit pricey.
Gavin Harrison –
Crystal clear as the name suggests with a good long lasting head. Hoppy on the nose with barely a hint of the expected banana-on-toast. Flavours similarly un-wheat-beer-like with an initial bitterness and little fruitiness. If Erdinger set out to use wheat beer ingredients to brew something reminiscent of a mass-produced lager, they have succeeded admirably. A slightly confusing, though not unpleasant experience!

Lovely, crisp beer – easy to quoff, – a fave German beer
