The classic Bitburger – a mature and most agreeable beer – is brewed with the best of ingredients in the same traditional way it has been for many, many years. The result is delicately tart and pleasantly bitter – with a strong hop taste. A top selling German beer brewed according to the German Purity Law.

I really enjoyed this pale straw coloured lager and feel that it’s a great example of a German pilsener. Further proof that Germany are lager kings. Clean, fresh, crisp, nice fizz and refreshing.
Rob Lewis –
Decent pils – solid, well balanced and easily drinkable. Its not going to shine as such but is still good quality
Aidan Turton –
This is available at a local restaurant on draught. It’s so good I have steins with my meal.
Mark Woodward –
I’d describe this as a German ‘session beer’. Light and refreshing but no discernible ‘stand-out’ flavour.
Andy Nichols –
Love this pilsener. Would put it in top 3. Lovely creamy head with a perfect pilsener taste. Would drink it all day long and better in the 500ml bottle to pour into a nice iced glass!
Ian Leeds –
Bitburger is one of my favourite German Pilsners. I prefer in the stubby bottle, but these larger bottles are not to be sniffed at either.
Paul Boniface –
Well balanced pilsner, light and refreshing and a good easy beer to drink. There are slightly better German beers on the market but if this was the only one available I wouldn’t be too disappointed.
Hans Auer –

I usually drink English ales and bitters, but during the summer months when it’s hot I like a lager and I prefer German Pilsners. Bitburger is what I buy out of choice. It has a crisp, fresh taste which I much enjoy. I would normally buy 330 ml bottles but I think I can easily step up to 500 ml. Good price from Beers of Europe.
Christine Saunders –
a nice easy drinking smooth beer
Stuart Spence –
Bitburger, simply the best pilsner on the planet. Best thing ever to come out of Dortmund!
Dean Griffiths –
There are better German Pilsners but Bitburger is always a very solid option and one I’ve found available in a number of countries outside its homeland.
It’s easy drinking with a slight bitter aftertaste. You can’t really go wrong with this.
Richard Powell –
A lovely smooth beer with crisp clean taste
william docherty –
Lovely fresh beer , nice in small frosted glass
Tony Singleton –
A very clean and crisp beer. I tasted it on draft many years ago in Germany, and this still hits the spot.

I have submitted a review before and I still maintain this is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. Always efficient always delivers promptly.
The beer in question Bitburger is Germany’s number one premium beer and you can taste why.
Malcolm Rynn –
I have ordered this beer a number of times from Beers of Europe and it never fails to impress. Light, crisp and great taste. Also Beers of Europe are an excellent company offering free delivery, within 2/3 days of ordering if over a certain amount, you can also set up a notification to be told when they are in stock. Excellent all round

It’s a good German pils, quite creamy and a touch of bitterness.
chris ladlow –
Nice and dry, really top notch German beer.
Steve Mutch –
Another of my favourites from Germany, good taste very refreshing well worth the money. Used to drink this when i served in Germany probably too much of it if truth be told.
But it you will not regret it.

Takes me back to the Good Old Days of time spent in RAFG. My favourite ale for 9 years now readily available at a pleasing price. Keep up the good work.
