Ayinger Leibhards Kellerbier (4.9% ABV) is a nostalgic speciality beer which ranks among the traditional old Bavarian beers. Brewed in commemoration of good old times and in honour to the brewery’s founder Johnann Liebhard.
The “Kellerbier” has a fine yeasty cloudiness and a pleasantly bitter taste. Most of the natural protein, yeast and hop remain contained in the beer as it is bottled unfilitered. Due to this the beer connoisseur can appreciate the fullness of taste as it retains its original characteer… a very drinkable beer! Also, the vitamin and mineral-rich yeast provides a signicant contribution to the nutritional requirements for good health!
Luis Branco –
Incredible Kellerbier from Ayinger, one of my favourite German breweries.
Very light but malty and sweet, with a clean finish. Certainly I will order it again!
Stujago –
A better than average, mild lager which has more in common with a pilsener than a helles. Well balanced and smooth.
Pete Saunders –
Pours straw-coloured and cloudy with a decent, persistent head. Good carbonation. Fruity and light. Very low bitterness, but not sweet.
Otto TheBierDude –
Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Mild toasted malt aroma, vague hops presence. Mild wheaty yeasty flavoured with a light bitterness coming through. Yeasty and mild wheaty-like finish.
Kris –
I do like the cloudiness and deeper taste of a kellerbier and this is one of the best I have tried thus far

Kul –
Fine yeasty cloudiness, light yellow in colour with a pleasantly bitter taste; something that takes a lttle getting used to.
Sweet in aroma, slightly grassy but pleasant. Great head, bright white foam, body is a little light.
Beerdrinker –
Nothing wrong with this, but I found it rather unremarkable and not to far from your average lager.
Paul Boniface –
A very enjoyable kellerbier. Deep taste, easy to drink as well as being clean and crisp. What more could you ask for?
