Augustiner Pils (5.6% ABV), brewed according to the original Pilsner recipe. The foam-crowned sparkling beer with an excellent note of hop and brewed with the finest malt and noblest flavoured hop.
The brewery that brews this lager is considered to be Munich’s oldest independent brewery and was founded in 1328 by Augustinian monks. This means not only are you drinking a fine lager, you’re also sampling an authentic piece of German history.

Very similar to the Ayinger Bairisch Pils. Good hop presence and wonderful aroma compliment each other with a slightly dry finish. Very enjoyable on a hot day
Maximilian Evans –
A good balance of hops of which, makes it quite smooth and pleasant to drink. Might be a bit strong for some at 5.6% but has a great taste so it’s well worth the purchase even with it being a 330ml.

Clear golden colour, white foam. Intens hoppy (grassy, bitter) with sweet malty notes. Well balanced. Nice drinkable pilsener!
Allan –
Quite a bitter pilsner, not in a bad way at all. Little foam on the top if poured. Very drinkable session lager, entirely different from their flagship helles but worth trying all the same.
Jim –
Very good. Light, crisp, slightly dry after taste. Always good quality from this brewery
Dean Griffiths –
Another excellent offering from Augustiner, just a shame they only come in the 330ml size!
Scott Fletcher –
Just received my ordered well pleased with this one never tried it before austeiner pils. Nice golden colour easy taste goes down great leaves a nice foam tide down your glass always a good sign of a good drink.
Chris Meechan –
Not quite of the same standard as some of Augustiner’s other lagers but a nice crisp pilsner nonetheless. Quite sweet with grassy notes.
Michael O'Driscoll –
I loved this crisp German beer.
Luke Manley –
Very nice beer. Would buy again.
Jens –
Unusual to have a Bavarian brewery produce a Pils, but this one is up there with the best from the Czech Republic and northern Germany, crisp with a slightly bitter finish, perfect.
