The 3 Mountains, a wonderful return to the sources. The old taste of the beers that are pulling the barrel of wood circled and that filled the number of mugs in our estaminets of Flanders!
Brewed by bottom-up infusion as in the past, with Flemish hops and fermented with high yeast, the 3 Mountains unveils a very rich aromatic profile.
Beer of character, with a persistent and tight foam.
Trois Monts –
Approach with caution. Not to be undertaken lightly or frivolously. A hugely satisfying beer – French, but more than equal to some of the major names on the Belgian side of the biorder

I like this style of beer. This is quite a harsh tasting one, but it fills your mouth, and is a joy to drink. Rather like drinking a very rich food. Personally I prefer La Goudale or Ch’Ti, but that is just a matter of my taste
ADRIAN ALLEN –
A VERY GOOD COMPANY TO DEAL WITH GOOD SERVICE AND A GREAT FRENCH BEER.
Andrew R. –
Dashingly yeasty, brilliantly bright and with a pleasantly dry finish. A strong alcohol burn reminds you of the ABV, but doesn’t overpower the flavour profile. A subtle spiciness pervades throughout.
Catriona MacKechnie –
Clear golden coloured farmhouse ale with white head and a grainy aroma with fruity and honey notes. The taste is sweet, strong and dry with hints of fruit (pear?). Very drinkable for an 8.5% abv beer.
Walter McGregor –
Found this beer years ago in France and got addicted.. A very pleasant beer. Highly recommended.
The Grand Reserve is even better.
James Russell –
Nice depth of flavour. Good with food.
Michael Wallis –
A well balanced, refreshing ale with a nice fruity taste that keeps a good head throughout.
Xavier Crepin –
A very good beer from North of France, equal to some best belgian trappist beers . Light spiciness in it
Steve Bruce –
Lovely. A bit malty, slightly bitter, definitely a good example of a stronger French ale. Hard to find in the UK though.
Jack Meaker –
Finest beer ever brewed!!

BeersofEurope are a reliable supplier with fast order processing and delivery. Trois Monts beer from St Sylvestre Cappel in French Flanders is one of the few remaining examples of this style of traditional farmhouse keeping beer. My grandfather worked at the British RAMC Field Hospital across the road from the brewery in 1918, just a few years before this brewery was opened so it has a connection!
