Pietra Rossa is a fruit beer from Brasserie Pietra in Corsica. Founded in 1996, Brasserie Pietra is known for their flagship amber ale brewed with chestnut flour. Pietra Rossa is a fruit beer flavoured with cherry and raspberry juice for a sweet, fruity drop. The beer has won numerous awards, including a bronze medal for France at the World Beer Awards.
Pouring a rich red colour, aromas of cherry and red fruits rise from this attractive beer. The flavour is sweet and fruity at the fore, with a hint of bitterness developing on the finish. Pietra Rossa is ideal served chilled in a stemmed glass for a delicate, fruity aperitif. Buy Pietra Rossa for an accessible fruit ale from a Corsican artisan brewery.

This is a lovely fruit beer. It has a cherry flavour that is not overpowering (rich but not sweet). I would say this definitely competes with the king of fruit beers (Belgium) and if you are to order one beer from Brazil, make it this.

I like a good cherry beer and I have been drinking a few good beers from France! This is both! Absolutely gorgeous, like sucking a cherry sweet! Definitely rivals the Belgian ones.

An excellent cherry beer that is as good as the Belgian ones I’ve tried. Sweet but with a very pleasant bitterness to it.

A well balanced beer in flavour and strength, not too rich and bittersweet
