The Ferme de Mont Saint-Jean is located in a historic square farm building built around a courtyeard at the end of the Waterloo battlefield, a stone’s throw from the Lion monument. During the battle of 1815, the farm was the site of a field hospital.
Waterloo Strong Kriek has been created by the master brewer and is the perfect blend between a top fermentation beer and a typical cherry lambic. This is the brewery’s strongest kriek beer ever and combines a well balanced fruity flavour with a strong character.

Pours red, amber has a fair pink head it smells of cherries and lemons then alcohol The taste is cherry cough sweets it has a huge sugary mouthfeel with bitterness at the end. A sipping Kriek I just wish it was not as sweet

Another quality beer with a great balance between cherry flavour and a wonderful sour taste. Another beer I could order again and again.
