Triomfbier Vooruit 330ml is a special edition smoked beer from Belgian brewery, Brasserie Dupont. Triomfbier Vooruit was originally brewed to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Kunstencentrum De Vooruit, a historical centre in the Belgian city of Ghent. Triomfbier Vooruit 330ml is a smoked beer or Rauchbier. How is smoked beer made? Traditionally, a German Rauchbier is made with malts that are smoked over an open flame, to give a smoky flavour to the finished beer.
Triomfbier Vooruit uses malts that are smoked over peat, imparting a phenolic, peated whisky flavour and aroma to the beer. Pouring a rich amber colour, Triomfbier Vooruit is dry and bitter, with a distinct peat-smoke aroma. Buy Triomfbier Vooruit 330ml to try an unusual smoked beer, reminiscent of peated whisky.

Very pleasant and not too rich with the smokiness. Worth a try

Ooh, that’s an interesting one. Balanced on smokiness, goes down easier than you’d expect. Good before going to really heavy stuff

In my glass hazy amber, white head My nose finds fruity pepper smoky caramel The palate enjoys softly peaty malts which blend into ripe apricot. Medium dry the smoke is more like a tea than a Rauchbier so one you could try before an Aecht if you have never tasted a smoked beer.
