Struise Black Damnation XXIII – Hollow is a barrel-aged imperial stout from Belgian brewery, De Struise. The brewery was born out of a small barn on an ostrich farm, and the name ‘Struise’ comes from the Flemish slang for ‘ostrich’. The brewery has achieved a lot since their conception in 2001 and was voted Best Brewery in the World by the members of Rate Beer in 2008.
Struise Black Damnation XXIII – Hollow is aged in Lagavulin whisky barrels, giving the beer oaky, peaty aromas. Pouring a jet black colour, the flavours of powerful coffee and chocolate mingle with peated whisky notes. Ideal for beer and whisky lovers, buy Struise Black Damnation XXIII – Hollow while you can – only a limited number have ever been produced.
