Maredsous Tripel is served in the abbey on special occasions. Its elegant smoothness hides its alcohol content and makes it the connoisseur’s beer.
Maredsous Tripel is a golden-bodied Belgian triple, redolent with festive sparkle, creamy body and a luscious head. Its elegant smoothness belies the strong alcohol content. You’ll revel in its balanced, long and warming finish.

Pleasant light beer,, hides the high ABV. Very enjoyable.

An incredibly complex beer with fruity malts and light candi sugar. Grainy bread and some dusty esters give way to banana and clove. Very easy drinking for the abv

A very rich, sour, fruit barley wine aroma with the same taste that is then in collision with an earthy banana spice. Surprisingly dry for its strength too. It really is all happening in this little bottle of joy.

Pours clear and golden with a nice, fluffy head that dissipates slowly. The aroma is quite zesty with a suggestion of lemon, and that fruitiness is there all the way through to the finish, which is pleasantly dry. It hides its 10% abv very well. Well worth a try – a very nice tripel. Will buy again.

Golden ale which is quite fruity and hides it’s strength well. Would buy again.

This is my all time favourite Tripel. It is both fruity and spicy and with a surprisingly warm, round finish. Excuse me, just going to buy some more.

Into my Tulip glass it appears bright copper with a great head Smells of bready malts and liquorice On the tongue and around the mouth I find, oily maple syrup with juicy fruit burst A solid example of the style it ends tangy and bready so is a rich and complex example of the style. Good value starter tripel.

A beer I order time after time, it’s never disappointed and is one of my top three Belgian beers

A tripel quite too bitter for me and not enough smoothy . Disappointing
