Lupulus Organicus is an organic Belgian tripel ale from Les 3 Fourquets brewery. Founded in 2011, Les 3 Fourquets is a Belgian small-batch brewery based in the Ardennes region. Lupulus Organicus is a certified organic beer, using organic ingredients of the finest quality. The name ‘Tripel’ indicates that up to three times the usual amount of malt has been used in the brew, giving the beer a high ABV and malty sweetness. Tripels tend to be fairly bitter, as a healthy dose of hops is added to balance out the sweetness from the malt.
Lupulus Organicus pours a hazy dark golden colour and offers up enticing floral aromas and spicy notes from the yeast. The flavour is fruity with a malty sweetness, drawing to a pleasantly bitter finish. Buy Lupulus Organicus for an organic Belgian tripel, served in an attractive 750ml sharing bottle.

Large foamy white head stayed on a pale gold body.
Big fruity aroma with stone fruit.
Medium bodied, sharp with a dry finish.
Bitter/Sweet citrus, herbal, yeast & confectionery tastes with a tangy finish.
Tasty stuff!

In another life, in another world, Lupulus Organicus would be classified as a ‘Strong Bitter’ as opposed to a (relatively low ABV) ‘Tripel’. There is an almost lemony smell which is quite unusual in a beer of this type – sharp, but not unpleasant by any means. The head is creamy-white and huge, and it lingers for ages, lacing the glass of this bright, golden beer. The taste is quite hoppy and grassy, and finishes very dry. A pleasant experience.

A very drinkable blond, i would define it as your typical strong Belgian beer. I find it delicious.
Overall if you like La Chouffe, definitely give this one a try. You will probably love it.

In my glass a pale slightly hazy gold Aromas of hoppy sour cereal Tastes are spicy with a dry hop explosion, into a lemon malt backbone Has a long dry finish so is this a Saison or tripel? I would say the former others may disagree, whatever I love the style

Very enjoyable belgian triple, with a nice after taste, quite slightly a bit bitter for me

Very nice, but surprisingly hoppy. Really more of an IPA than a Belgian Triple. Again, very nice, but not what I was expecting.
