A version of Belgium’s “wild-fermented” wheat beer, which is the result of blending Lambic of “one summer” with old Lambic and chaptalized with candy sugar.
Faro is an intriguing balance of wineyness and sweetness. This was probably the beer being served in Breugel’s paintings of Flemish Village Life. Faro is a delicious accompaniment of a whole assortment of desserts.

Please state in the description that there is a cork under the cap so corkscrew needed after bottle opener.
After we eventually got it opened, it is a pleasant dessert beer, but might only suit someone with a sweet tooth

A neck wrapper, cap and a cork, maybe they could encase the bottle in concrete just to be on the safe side! My first Faro Lambic.
Pours a clear brown with brief fizzy white head which didn’t last long.
Aroma is yeasty, sweet, apple puree baby food, berries. Interesting.
Taste is sweet, tangy, apple, cherry, berry, caramel, light sourness.
Medium bodied, slightly syrupy, high carbonation.
Very fruity and tasty.
