A version of Belgium’s “wild-fermented” wheat beer, which is the result of blending Lambic of “one summer” with old Lambic and chaptalized with candy sugar.
Faro is an intriguing balance of wineyness and sweetness. This was probably the beer being served in Breugel’s paintings of Flemish Village Life. Faro is a delicious accompaniment of a whole assortment of desserts.

A delicious variation on the class lambic beers from this brewery. The addition of candy sugar adds a deep molasses sweetness and a darker colour to the beer. It is almost spicy on the palette, will purchase again in the future.

Certainly not for every taste, but I enjoyed this.
Sweetened lambic with a slightly sour finish. Good for a quick, easy drink.
I read someone making comparisons with sweet sherry on the nose, which is about right. Soft carbonation.

Pleasantly sweet with a touch of welcome tartness. Lovely stuff and makes for a great after-dinner treat.
