Castle Red is the fruit beer of the Castle range.
Its unique dark red colour is obtained by mixing Castle brown that has been left to mature for at least 6 months with sour cherries. This beer has gastronomic qualities and can be drunk as an aperitif, with a BBQ, to accompany a dessert or simply as an outstanding real ale.

This is my favourite beer and several of my friends.. if you like Belgium fruit beers or Kriek give this a go.
Always sells out quickly but when in stock Beers of Europe are phenomenal at processing order and getting it delivered.

This is a lovely cherry beer, full of flavour, maybe not quite the perfect sweet/sour balance for me (I like them sweet), but it has a freshness/lightness I didn’t expect in an 8% beer

I’m not a lover of fruity flavoured beers but Kasteel Rouge is a pleasant surprise. The cherry flavour is not overpowering and suprisingly light for an 8% beer.

A lovely cherry beer. Easy drinking considering its 8% strength. Personally I prefer Cherry Chouffe, but would have this as first reserve.

Super full flavoured cherry beer, love it.

I’m a big fan of Belgium Cherry Beers and this one is up there with the best. You can definitely taste the sour cherrys. At 8% it’s not one for the faint hearted. Reasonably priced too.
