Kasteel Cuvée du Château 750ml is a Belgian strong ale from Kasteel Brouwerij Vanhonsebrouck. Founded in 1865 in northern Belgium, the brewery is still owned and run by members of the Vanhonsebrouck family today. To create Kasteel Cuvée du Château, the brewers mature Kasteel Donker for 10 years, to give a rich, complex beer reminiscent of port. Beautifully served in a 750ml sharing bottle, Kasteel Cuvée du Château is ideal for food pairing with strong cheese, or a game dish.
Pouring a deep chestnut colour, Kasteel Cuvée du Château offers up aromas of roasted malts, caramel and brown sugar. The flavour is rich, with dark fruit, fudge and some spice from the Belgian yeast. Buy Kasteel Cuvée du Château for a 10-year aged Belgian strong ale to savour with friends.

First tried on 27th Feb 2022. at 8*C. Poured into Kasteel glass with appealing creamy head. Smooth easy drinking. Delicious flavours and aromas. Fruity and rich like a mature Xmas cake. A dark beer with complex flavours and aromas, very delicious.
